Greek-style pancakes with yogurt (Tiganites me giaourti)

Ingredients

  • 200g greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • oil for frying
  • honey for serving

Directions

  1. Stir well the yogurt with the egg. In a separate bowl mix the flour with the baking soda. Add the mixture of yogurt and stir well until you get a thick batter.

  2. Heat the oil in a pan and add the batter spoon by spoon (let some space between them). Fry the "tiganites" turning them to both sides until nicely coloured and transfer them to some kitchen paper, to absorb the oil. Serve them with honey, cinnamon or nuts.
