In a bowl, mixx all the ingredients for the dough until you have a dough. Roll out the dough into a thin pastry, and cut into strips (25cmx 3cm approximately)
In a deep pan, heat the olive oil. When hot, add the strips of dough, one by one, rolled into spirals. when golden, carefully turn the spirals over using a fork, careful not to lose the shape.
When done, remove each kserotigano and place on absorbent paper.
For the syrup, boil the sugar and water for 3 minutes, then add the honey and mix. Dip each kserotigano in the hot syrup and remove. Serve on a serving plate and sprinkle with nuts, sesame, cinnamon, and some extra honey.
