Ingredients

  • Serves 35-40 miniature cheese pies

  • Ingredients for the Dough

  • 1 small bowl (200g.) of strained yogurt
  • 180g. of olive oil
  • a pinch of salt
  • 400g of self-rising flour
  • 1 egg
  • Ingredients for the filling

  • 200g. of feta cheese
  • 100g. of grated kefalotiri cheese
  • a pinch of pepper
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Place the yogurt, olive oil, and salt in a bowl and mix. Slowly add the flour and mix until it forms a soft dough. Roll a thick sheet of dough and cut with round cookie cutters. Mix all the ingredients well. Add 1 large spoonful of filling to the center of every dough cutout and fold in the shape of a half moon. Press on the edges with your fingers to seal them.

  2. Place the miniature pies onto a pan lined with non-stick paper and lightly brush their surface with a whipped egg. Cook in a pre-heated over at 180° C for 10'-15'.
