Little minced meat pies with cream cheese
- 2 puff pastry sheets
- 1/2 kg (1.1 lbs) mixed minced meat (veal and pork)
- 200 g. (7.1 oz) cream cheese
- 50 g. (1.7 oz) grated gruyere
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- some olive oil
In a pan, sauté the onion in olive oil. Add the minced meat and continue sautéing. Season to taste.
Mix the cream cheese with the gruyere in a bowl, add the minced meat and continue stirring.
Butter a baking dish and lay one sheet of puff pastry. Spread the mixture of minced meat in the puff pastry, place the second sheet on top and press the edges of the pie so as to close well.
Bake at 180° C (356° F) for 20' to 25' minutes until the surface is browned. Cut the pie into pieces and serve.
