Kataifi pie with ham and cheese
- 500g kataifi pastry
- 150g kefalotiri cheese, grated
- 250g graviera cheese, grated
- 250g kaseri cheese, grated
- 200g feta cheese, in small pieces
- 300g ham
- 150g butter
- 4 eggs
- 650ml fresh milk
- mint finely chopped
Separate and spread the kataifi pastry with your fingers so that it foams. Mix the cheeses m in a bowl and add a little bit of mint.
Pour butter over a baking pan, spread half of the kataifi pastry, lay over it the half of the cheeses and then the ham. Powder with the remaining mixture of cheeses. Cover the pie with the remaining kataifi.
Melt in a frying pan the butter (careful not to burn it ) and beat it well with the eggs and milk. Pour over the pie the mixture of eggs-butter and bake it in a pre-heated oven to 180ο C for 45 minutes.
