Greens with feta cheese (Horta)
- 1kg of greens (sorrel, spinach)
- 2-3 chopped spring onions
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup of dill finely chopped
- 2 chopped leeks
- 200g. feta cheese
- juice of 1 lemon
Wash and clean the greens, cut them and let them drain . Heat the olive oil and saute the leeks and the onions until wilted.
Add the greens and saute for 10' and stirring constantly . Finally add the dill and stir. Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper. Simmer for 30' - 35 ' . At the end add the cheese and let it cook along with the greens for 3' - 4'.
