  • Serves: 4
  • Complexity: medium

Ingredients

  • Red apples: 4, washed
  • walnuts: 50 gr., coarsely chopped
  • honey: 4 tsp.
  • cinnamon: ½ tsp.
  • strained yoghurt: 300 gr.
  • sugar: 2 tbs.
  • butter: a bit
  • sultanas: 40 gr.

Directions

  1. Cut a horizontal slice off the top of the apple and core. Mix the walnuts with half the honey and a little bit of cinnamon and stuff the apples with this mixture.

  2. Cover the apples with the cap that was cut off. Place them on a non-stick, lightly greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for approximately 50 minutes until they are soft.

  3. When they have cooled, open them and fill with the yoghurt that you have in the meantime beaten with the sugar. Drizzle with the remaining honey, sprinkle with sultanas and a little bit of cinnamon.
