Quick omelette with sliced cheese
- 4-5 eggs
- 2 tbsp evaporated milk (optional)
- 4-5 cheese slices
- salt and pepper
- 1 bsp olive oil or butter
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped herbs (parsley, dill, choves, etc)
Beat the eggs with the milk, salt, and pepper. heat the oil or butter in a nonstick pan.
Add the egg mixture to the pan and cook without stirring the bottom of the omelette, stirring occasionally so the oil or butter can get to the top of the omelette.
Once the bottom has been cooked, add the cheese slices, as many as you like. Fold the omelette in two, like a sandwich.
Flip the omelette on the other side and, once the cheese has melted, remove it from the pan. Sprinkle the fresh herbs on top, if desired, and serve with bread.
