Baked apples with yoghurt, honey and cinnamon (Mila psita)
- Red apples: 4, washed
- walnuts: 50 gr., coarsely chopped
- honey: 4 tsp.
- cinnamon: ½ tsp.
- strained yoghurt: 300 gr.
- sugar: 2 tbs.
- butter: a bit
- sultanas: 40 gr.
Cut a horizontal slice off the top of the apple and core. Mix the walnuts with half the honey and a little bit of cinnamon and stuff the apples with this mixture.
Cover the apples with the cap that was cut off. Place them on a non-stick, lightly greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for approximately 50 minutes until they are soft.
- When they have cooled, open them and fill with the yoghurt that you have in the meantime beaten with the sugar. Drizzle with the remaining honey, sprinkle with sultanas and a little bit of cinnamon.
